But Burslem and his team weren’t ready to completely abandon subscription revenues. “We were struggling conceptually not just with flattening membership rates, but with all the down sides that come from having that pay wall up — bloggers can’t link to our news and] search

Grocery prices on the rise

Thu, 24 Apr 2008 18:48:29 PDT
Grocery prices on the rise Thursday, April 24th, 2008 Wendy and I were shocked to hear that Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club has put a restriction on the number of bags of rice customers can buy (see “Wal-Mart limits rice purchases“). We were even more surprised because of how apparently prophetic the news was! In our presentation last Fri

News Corp. Hires Hacker to Break Into Dish Satellite Network

Thu, 24 Apr 2008 16:52:30 PDT

By Debbie Schlussel I've been following First Islamic Investment Bank a/k/a Arcapita (it's new and sanitized name to hide its Islamic goals) ever since I wrote about its anti-American, pro-HAMAS corporate executive, Sheikh Yusuf Qaradawi.
